6-23-16 Metal Feeling
•Metal feeling•
My heart is made of bricks and cement
I cannot recall when they were placed
I can say it was me
The cracks and sloppy hand work of each red rock is so familiar
My heart is functioned by an engine
Each punch of the piston pushing hot red liquid through the veins in my arms and legs
My heart sounds like a machine
Clanking and crashing
Steam rolling out of my ears
I am a walking pile of metal and stone, rubbing against each other
The world covers it's ears and hold its breath when I stumble and crawl by
Crashing and stomping by every foot step
A bad song no one will whistle too
Dance too
Sing too
Or fall in love with
It doesn't hurt
I can fuel my own crinkled heart
I still want to know
What is dreaming?
What is hurt?
What does loving feel like?
No warmth
Softness of skin
The crunch of leafs on my metal feet or water in between my toes
I just want someone to teach me how to feel
